Neurological conditions

If you suffer from multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, or have had a stroke or spinal injury, you’ve probably already spent some time in hospital and possibly had a course of physiotherapy there too.

However, neurological conditions like these often need the input of a physiotherapist on a more ongoing basis. This can help to maintain the recovery you’ve made, move your rehabilitation onwards or manage new problems if your symptoms worsen.

We’ve a long history of treating neurological patients and appreciate just how much difference little things like carrying out a task in a different way can make if you’ve got movement problems. Our approach is to make the most of your potential and help you maintain your mobility and independence as much as possible. This involves assessment, education, rehabilitation and exercise, as well as advice for carers.

If you’re not sure whether we can help you, or someone you’re caring for, just call us. We’ll be happy to talk things through with you and, if you choose, arrange an appointment.
